Sarah and I are happy to announce that Baby Granger is 13 1/2 weeks along! At our appointment this morning we heard both a strong heartbeat and much fetal movement. This is truly a miracle! Please continue to pray for a strong, healthy baby.
After a year of hard study, and only by the grace of God, I finished nursing school. At the end of September I passed my state boards, receiving my license to practice.
I recently was hired by Lafayette General Medical Center to work as an RN in the oncology department. This great blessing will allow us to be able to pay off the loans we accrued over the last year, while at the same time allow us the opportunity to look ahead at where God will call us next in foreign missions. As God called us to take this past year to attain this nursing degree, we are very excited to see the ways in which God is going to use this tool in our missionary vocation.
Our good friend and fellow missionary Sarah Baquet recently released an acoustic CD of her original music. Sarah Baquet contributed one of my favorite tracks on The Ananias Project, and her new album is full of great songs. Please check out her music by clicking on the link below.
Sarah’s testimony this morning was very blessed.

Recently, Sarah has been invited to be the guest speaker at the monthly
meeting of the Magnificat Group. “Magnificat, a Ministry to Catholic women is
a private association of the faithful within the Catholic Church under the
jurisdiction of the local ordinary. Its purpose is to help Catholic women
to open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their
lives to Jesus as Lord and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their
love, service and sharing the good news of salvation. It thus provides
opportunities which will foster a desire to grow in holiness (Magnificat).” As the guest speaker, Sarah will be giving an extensive testimony of her life. The testimony will also be recorded live, and will be available for listening here on our family’s blog. Please lift Sarah up in prayer, so that her speech will give a powerful testimony to the glory of our God!
Friends,
During this time when we have so much going on, God is still inspiring us artistically in different ways. Sarah has recently put the finishing touches on a book we are all very excited about. Please pray that God will lead us to the right publisher, so that the book can get out there! Alyse has also recently finished writing one of her books. Remember to check out her blog site too! I, as always, am in a constant state of writing music;). I regularly put up new music on our media page. There you can also listen to exclusive tracks off of The Ananias Project. We will also be using this page to put up links to buy Sarah’s book as soon as it is available.
Friends and benefactors,
Having completed all of the necessary classes needed for admission to the accelerated nursing program, we are moving to New Orleans! After being accepted into Our Lady of the Lake College, they are stationing me at the East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie, LA, which is just outside of New Orleans. Please pray for me, as I will be going through the most intense education and clinical experience of my life. My love is with all of you. Praise be Jesus Christ!

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As always, I thank you for your incredible generosity to our family and our missionary work. I wanted to write to you to make sure you know that during this time of being out of full time mission, all of our missionary finances are still only being used for missionary work! We are working to provide for our own living expenses while we are here in the US, and all of our missionary funds are still only being used for missionary activity. I just wanted to assure you of this, as it is a very important point.
